From Indoor Training to Outdoor Freedom Zoey Comes Running Every Time

I rarely write reviews, but the Tabcat tracker has been so effective that I must share! We got a one-year-old cat this summer and wanted to let her be an in and out cat like our previous kitty, but with more supervision. We introduced the tracker indoors by letting Zoey wear it for a couple of days and then started to track her when she was in the room with us, giving her a treat when we called/tracked and she came.The tag is small and lightweight; Zoey doesn’t mind it at all. Gradually, we tracked her when she was out of sight in the house (giving treats and praise when she came) and finally let her go outdoors. When her collar light blinks and beeps, she came running! It’s invaluable for tracking her down when she wanders a little further than we’d like. Just walk around holding the locator to the strongest signal, even if it’s just a couple of red lights. Eventually it gets yellow and then green as we both get closer. We’ve been using it for a few months and it has exceeded my expectations. The older cat we adopted at the same time is now getting interested in the outdoors, so we’re beginning the process with her, using the second tag. We highly recommend the Tabcat tracker!
